LIFE COACHING

Exclusive New Offering: Litanies of the Heart Coach-Guided Book Study

This eight-week guided study will cover all the foundational components of Christian Parts Work that Dr. Gerry Crete describes in his book, Litanies of the Heart: Relieving Post-traumatic Stress and Calming Anxiety Through Healing Our Parts, while also providing an emotionally safe group space for you to apply the principles to your own life. With the help of two seasoned coaches, Ruth O’Neil and Michelle Dunne, you will learn to recollect the parts of you that have been trying to aid and protect you, but have become obstacles to your ability to develop healthy relationships and rest in God’s love for you as a little child.

As you embark on this guided coaching experience, know that you are not alone. Our small community is here to support you, providing a safe space for exploration and growth. Our hope is that you will fully embrace this opportunity to discover your own rich inner world and take action with a new level of confident vulnerability.

This is the only book study endorsed and supported by the author. For more information, join our free community by clicking here: https://transfiguration-coaching.mn.co/share/bKltvMrLORi0OpLu?utm_source=manual

Life Coaching for Individuals

In Life Coaching a client works with a coach to identify and overcome current problematic habits or behavior that might be getting in the way of achieving the success they are looking for.  It is an action-oriented and solution-focused approach that helps people create practical plans to achieve their goals.

Life Coaches do not diagnose the individuals they work with. Coaches help people develop effective strategies to define a purpose, overcome obstacles, improve relationships, set goals, define values, and navigate the changes and transitions of life.

Therapy is a process in which a client works with a healthcare professional to diagnose and resolve problematic beliefs, behaviors, relationship issues, feelings and sometimes physical responses. The idea behind therapy is to focus on past traumas and issues to change self-destructive habits, repair and improve relationships and work through painful feelings. In this sense, therapy is exploratory and focuses on the past and on introspection and analysis,

Although life coaches and therapists occasionally help clients with similar problems, their work is not the same. In order to get the right kind of professional expertise, it is crucial to know which kind of guidance will serve you best. Do you need a therapist, or do life coaching services better suit you? Life coaching isn’t simply a watered-down version of therapy. It is a dynamic discipline designed to help motivate and inspire people to achieve more than they believe is possible.

Life Coaching for Couples

  • Married couples: Feeling stuck? Find yourselves getting drawn into the same disagreements over and over again? Looking for a way to improve your overall relationship satisfaction and quality? Or simply feeling like you could use a tune-up?
  • Engaged couples: Looking for a way to get to know each other better? Establish a firm foundation before your wedding day? Interested in premarital coaching?
  • Dating couples: Are you discerning whether engagement/marriage is right for you?

If so, couples life coaching might be for you. Life Coaching for Couples is a collaborative, goals-focused, strengths-based approach to help dating, engaged, and married couples strengthen and revitalize their relationships. The couple’s coach does not make diagnoses, nor is there a singling out of individuals. Rather, the couple’s coach treats the couple’s relationship as the client, helping the pair to set goals, define values, establish healthy communication skills, and thus work toward a stronger, healthier relationship.

Our approach is intentional and evidence-based. We draw on the latest research and clinical experience to help couples improve their relationship quality and commitment. We take stock of your past and your present to help you move toward a more joyful, committed, and healthy future.
